Our verdict

Who it suits
Households sharing one bike: Wattbike says it fits riders from 4′6″ to 6′6″ and adjusts without tools. You get accurate power figures, automatic resistance, Wattbike's Hub workouts free, and it works with Zwift, ROUVY, TrainerRoad and other ANT+ FE-C or Bluetooth FTMS apps. At 57 cm it's the narrowest bike in our sample pages.
Who should look elsewhere
You want a screen built in: there isn't one, so you'll ride with a phone, tablet or laptop. It needs a mains socket, weighs 48 kg, takes riders up to 135 kg (the AtomX and Air-Pro take 150 kg), and Wattbike doesn't give a noise figure.
