Our verdict
- Who it suits
- Riders who want a smart bike that's ready without a tablet: it has its own touchscreen with Wattbike's Hub workouts and fitness tests free, and it also works with Zwift, Rouvy, TrainerRoad and other ANT+ FE-C or Bluetooth FTMS apps. The low step-through bar helps anyone who finds swinging a leg over awkward. Riders up to 150 kg.
- Who should look elsewhere
- You're watching the budget: at £3,199 RRP it's £1,400 more than the Proton, which has the same electromagnetic resistance and app support but no screen. It's wider than the Proton (68 cm against 57 cm), needs a mains socket, and Wattbike doesn't give a noise figure.
