Our verdict
- Who it suits
- Runners as well as walkers: up to 20 km/h and 15% incline on a 152 × 50 cm running area, and it folds to 113 cm long afterwards. Works with JRNY, Peloton, Kinomap and Zwift on your own device, accepts a Bluetooth heart-rate strap, and takes users up to 147 kg.
- Who should look elsewhere
- Small rooms and upstairs floors: it's 196 × 89.7 cm in use, up to 181 cm tall when folded, and weighs 106 kg. BowFlex asks for a ceiling of at least your height plus 52.7 cm (232.7 cm for a 180 cm runner). It doesn't give the motor's continuous rating or a noise figure, and its page gives two different folded sizes, so measure carefully.
